Independence
We are not a government site
Never Caught Out is an independent guide. It is not a government service.
- We are not part of, funded by or endorsed by HM Government, the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government, the Northern Ireland Executive, the Met Office, the Environment Agency, SEPA, Natural Resources Wales, any council, energy network or emergency service.
- We quote official advice, with credit and a link, because it is good advice. Quoting it does not mean those bodies endorse us.
- We do not use government logos, crests or campaign branding, and we do not style our pages to look like official alerts.
- Our guides are general information. In an emergency, follow instructions from the emergency services and official channels. If life is at risk, call 999.
